Who we are

An Independent, locally owned, general and travel specialty bookstore and brewery in Santa Fe, New Mexico located due east of the plaza in the oldest part of Santa Fe.

We are a prime resource for local recreational information for exploring the nearby national forests, wilderness areas and parks. We custom print full scale USGS Maps for the entire USA.

Under single ownership since creation in 1998 by Greg Ohlsen and Ellen Stelling founders of Garcia Street Books in 1990!

Discover the joys of electric vehicle travel. For the intrepid and the timid. Seeing our beautiful country from mountain to the shoreline will inspire a love of our lands. The journey included three national parks, three monasteries and spanned over 5000 miles driven. It ranged from a precise travel itinerary to "stop and explore as you like." Athena is an award-winning Tesla driver and Cheryl an intrepid and detail oriented travel planner.
